ABOUT BRENDA
"Hi everyone. My name is Brenda and I am a 16 year old female tabby and calico mix. Sadly, my owner passed away suddenly leaving me completely homeless. My owner's kind neighbor has been holding me temporarily with the hope that I can find a loving home to live out my remaining years so I don't end up another statistic at an overcrowded shelter. While my rescuer's intentions were kind and good, I unfortunately am not doing very well in my new temporary home. Because I was an only cat for 16 years and I am a little hard of hearing due to my age, I am very stressed by the younger, more active cats in the home and am now spending my days and nights in the bathroom all by myself with very little human contact.
I am a sweet, people-loving old girl who desperately needs someone to love me and who will be willing to open up their home and heart to me for my few remaining years of life. My rescuers are looking to find someone who will give me the chance to live out my golden years in a loving home-I could probably live with a laid-back older cat like myself or a cat-friendly dog.
