Join Star of the Day Event productions as they offer a 10 week acting intensive at Accents Model and Talent Center in Bethlehem, PA on Mondays 7-9 PM from September 12 through November 14.
This acting intensive will cover several popular acting techniques, audition techniques, improvisational skills, scene study, monologues, and more. The 10 week class will end with a FREE performance for friends and family to highlight what the actors learned during their 10 week course.
The acting intensive is taught by Kirsten Almeida, a professional actress residing in the Lehigh Valley. Kirsten has performed all over the United States and Canada. She has appeared on stage with Broadway actor, Bart Shatto, as well as London's West End actress Lindsay Hamilton. Kirsten was a member of the award winning cast for the Off Broadway one act 'Skin Deep' written and directed by Mary Lynn Dobson, as well as the Off Broadway premieres of "Professor Von Awesome's Traveling Caravan of Cautionary Warnings' and 'The Legend of Johnny 15.'
Kirsten can also be seen locally in the Valley perfoming the first Thursday of every month at the Spotlight Cabaret at Allentown Brew Works.
Ms. Almeida earned her Bachelor's Degree in Theater from Wagner College in Staten Island, NY. She is a theater educator all over the Lehigh Valley as well as in NYC at a prestigious commercial casting house for young aspiring actors.
This course is perfect for those interested in acting ages 14 +.
