
The Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum will host a celebration in honor of Lehigh County's 200th birthday at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6.
- Rare local artifacts and documents will be on display.
- The act of Assembly that created Lehigh County on March 6, 1812 will be read in its original German form and in English.
- Cake made from an original Dolly Madison recipe will be served.
- A reenactor portraying Ann Penn Allen will discuss her role in creating Lehigh County.
The event is free for museum members. Cost for non-members is $6 for adults, $3 for children. The event is free for children under 5.
