Bethlehem Non-Profit Performing Arts Organization Will Present Three-Week Run of Musical Based on Literary and Pop Culture Favorite

From May 3-May 19, 2013, Pennsylvania Youth Theatre (PYT) will perform The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley, a musical based on the beloved children’s book Flat Stanley by Jeff Brown. Performances will be held at the Charles A. Brown Ice House on Sand Island in Bethlehem, PA.

The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley brings the two-dimensional hero, Stanley Lambchop, to life on stage. After the large bulletin board above his bed comes loose and falls on top of him, Stanley wakes up flat. In a whirlwind musical travelogue, Stanley scours the globe for a solution to his unusual problem. Whether he’s thwarting a robbery at the Louvre Museum in Paris, or “hanging ten” off the coast of Hawaii, Stanley comes closer and closer to his goal of being a three-dimensional boy once again.

Showtimes: 7:00 p.m. on Fridays, and 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays from May 3 - May 19, 2013.
