The Bach Choir and Bach Festival Orchestra are joined by the Bel Canto Children’s Chorus, in a performance of Benjamin Britten’s Saint Nicholas, a cantata in nine scenes depicting the life, faith and miracles of the beloved Saint Nicolas whose generosity to those in need became the model for Santa Claus, and Bach’s Magnificat. The concert ends with a traditional carol sing.
