Fine Arts Commission Seeks Award Nominees
Nominations for Tribute to the Arts Awards are due by March 15.

This year, the Bethlehem Fine Arts Commission will celebrate 22 years of honoring outstanding individuals, arts organizations, businesses and institutions for their exceptional support for the arts.
It is again time for the community to submit nominations for the Tribute to the Arts Awards.

The commission will consider nominations for a variety of arts disciplines including architecture, literature, performing arts (theater, music, dance, storytelling), the visual arts (painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, photography) and media (film, video, audio).
Nominees will be considered on the merit of their contribution to the arts rather than on the number of entries submitted. Award recipients will be selected by members of the commission from nominations, which must be received by March 15.

Unlike years past, when the awards were presented in the spring, this year, the awards will be presented on October 11 during a reception at ’s Payne Gallery.
In 1991, the commission established the Tribute to the Arts awards to promote the arts and recognize those who enrich our community.
Past recipients include the , the Celtic Cultural Alliance, the Bethlehem Garden Club, the and the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival.
