Firefighters Protest Possible Firehouse Conversion

City firefighters are asking the public to help them protest the proposed conversion of a firehouse into an emergency medical services building, according to this Lehigh Valley Live report.

City officials are considering turning the North Central Fire Station on Dewberry Avenue into the city’s new EMS headquarters because bids to construct a new building came in over budget.

Firefighters have been distributing fliers promoting their cause around the northside neighborhood.
