A health and fitness fair and a storytelling festival round out your plans for the weekend.

High School musicals and the Family Fitness Fair offer activities the whole family can enjoy.  If you are searching for a women only weekend, check out the Story Fusion Festival or travel to Diva Nation to have a laugh on a ‘girls night out.” 

The Kingston Trio will get you and your signification other out for the night at the State Theatre.

Why Go: A fun family event to celebrate the coming of Spring and all the adventures it entails with the delightful characters of Frog and Toad.

Where/When: Velocity Sports Performance Center, 250 Cetronia Rd, Allentown, Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Why Go: Fun and interactive family fitness activities and prizes. Free wellness screenings. Free smoothies for the kids. Free golf simulation and analysis for dads. Free demonstration on how to start a container garden for moms. Free Karate demonstrations for everyone. When Ferrous the Iron Pig mascot arrives, it’s a party!

• STORY FUSION FESTIVAL

Where/When: , Lipkin Theatre & Kopecek Hall, Friday – Sunday.

Why Go: Hone your skills as a story teller or your own stories. This three day workshop focuses on workshops that will help you create a portrait of your life, construct a family genealogy and develop interview techniques that will help you gather your family story.  Story teller Hannah Harvey will be performing “Out of the Dark-Appalachian Coal Mining Stories” to demonstrate the art and its techniques.

Pricing: Tickets $10 for Friday or Saturday Evening, $35 for all day Saturday, Sunday Free. 

• FOUR BITCHIN BABES ()

Where/When: State Theatre, 453 Northampton Street, Easton, Friday, 8:00 p.m.

Why Go: This quartet straight from Diva Nation will have you splitting your sides in laughter as they lead you to a land where “music, laughter and girlfriends reign.” Get the girls together and leave the men at home because this is best appreciated in the presence of like-minded divas.

Pricing: Tickets, $22.

THE KINGSTON TRIO ( )

When: State Theatre, 453 Northampton Street, Easton, Saturday, 8:00 p.m.

Why Go: The acoustic sound of guitar, banjos and a three-part harmony will re-awaken your appreciation for folk music and transport you back in time to the $60’s. Nothing to protest here but a good time.

Pricing: Tickets, $30 - $35.
