Good Friday: What's Open, What's Closed
Schools, local government offices are closed. Banks and post offices are open.
Today is Good Friday, one of the most holy days on the Christian calendar.
Some businesses and government agencies are observing the holiday while others are open.
Bethlehem City Hall and the Bethlehem Township Municipal Building are both closed today. Schools are closed as are the offices of the Bethlehem Area School District.
Banks and the U.S. Post office are open. U.S. Mail is being delivered.
The U.S. financial markets are closed. Check with your broker for individual office hours.
State offices are open. PennDOT spokesman Sean Brown said all motor vehicle services, including driver license centers, will observe normal operating hours.
