Home Helpers® provides quality care for seniors and individuals of all ages coping with a disability or recuperating from illness or injury. Our caregivers make a difference in the lives of others while helping them maintain independent living in the comfort of their homes.
We are seeking caregivers who are able to communicate effectively, display empathy in caring for others, and work well as a team member as well as individually.
Primary responsibilities include:
Home Support- light housekeeping of client’s living spaces; laundry, changing sheets, personal care. Meals – shopping for food, preparing meals, following special diets, feeding client. Emotional support – companionship, having conversations, playing cards/games. Transportation – errands, medical appointments. Communication – Reporting changes in patient condition to Home Helpers and keeping daily records of patient care in log book.
Requirements:
• Experience with home health care is not required, but is helpful.• Must have own transportation, valid driver’s license and auto insurance.• Must have references and a good work history.• Must pass a comprehensive set of background checks.
