Man Killed in Domestic Dispute, Woman Allegedly "Threw Knife" At Him

A man was killed in a domestic dispute early Monday morning after a woman allegedly threw a knife at him.

A Bethlehem woman was charged on Monday for killing the father of her child in her home in the 1200 block of Woodbine Street after she said she threw a knife at him, authorities said.

Ebony Anniqua Jones, 31, allegedly dialed 911 and told the dispatcher that the man -- who has not been identified -- was not breathing according to The Express-Times. Police said the man has not been identified because not all family members have been notified yet. Police have only announced that the man was from the Bronx, New York, The Express-Times reports.

Northampton County District Attorney John Morganelli said Jones will be charged with one count of homicide that stems from a domestic dispute, according to The Morning Call. Neither Jones nor the victim had a protective order against each other and no prior calls were made to police from Jones’ home. An autopsy will be performed on Tuesday.
