The Bugs of Blackwood experiment with fire, gas, air pressure, water and chemicals to rescue their friend Benjamin. This science with a story program is presented by Piccirillo Sciencetelling at the Main Library. A second show is scheduled for Thursday, July 11 at 6:30 at the South Side Branch, 400 Webster Street. The program is presented as part of the Library’s summer reading program- Dig into Reading. Children explore bugs and animals that burrow underground and are encouraged to read all summer. Story times, craft programs, and special events continue through August 2 for preschool and school age children.
The free science program is recommended for children age 4 and older. No registration. Children must show their BAPL card.
