Red, White & George - Wine & Beer Tasting on George Taylor lawn, Catasauqua

Join us for a evening event with wines, local beers, light refreshments, tours of the GTH, music, and a movie.

Advance tickets can be purchased at Catasauqua Borough Hall or at the concert in the park on Friday night for $20.  Tickets at the door are $25. Coming late? Discount tickets will be available after ~10pm.

In addition to tastings, beers and wines can be purchased by the glass.
Music is provided by Tavern Tan.

The movie, The Farmer Takes a Wife, made in 1935 is a story of life on the canal:  a farmer (Henry Fonda in possibly his first screen role) takes a job on a canal boat and finds a wife (Janet Gaynor).

There will also be an auction of donated gifts to raise money for restoration work and programs at the George Taylor House.

The event is sponsored by the Borough of Catasauqua, the Friends of the George Taylor House, Historic Catasauqua Preservation Association and Tavern Tan.
