Report: Pitt Quarterback Suspended for Bethlehem Drug Bust

University of Pittsburgh quarterback and alumnus Anthony Gonzalez has been suspended by the team as a result of his arrest Friday night on marijuana possession charges, The Morning Call is reporting.
Gonzalez, who led the Hurricanes to a state championship in 2008, was arrested as part of a group of young men busted on drug and alcohol charges on E. Third Street at about 12:45 a.m. Saturday, according to a Bethlehem police media report.
The newspaper is reporting that Gonzalez’s mother said the charges are false.
