Slots machine play at Sands brought $25.3 million in revenue in February

Slots machine revenue at the was up 17 percent in February from a year ago, according to figures released last week by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
The Bethlehem casino earned $25.3 million in revenue from slots play alone during the month, a $3.6 million increase over 2011.

Statewide, slots gaming revenues increased by 9 percent to $215.7 million at the state’s 10 casinos. From that, the tax revenue generated was $117 million, or about $4 million a day.
