Students Donate More Than 75 Food Items to Local Seniors in Need

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool held a "souper bowl" food drive for senior residents at the B'nai B'rith Apartments in Allentown

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool on High Point Boulevard in Bethlehem recently donated more than 75 nonperishable food items to B'nai B'rith Apartments in Allentown, Pa., which provides housing for senior citizens and persons with a qualifying mobility impairment. From Jan. 20-31, students held a “souper bowl” donation drive to collect nonperishable food items. At the end of the collection, students worked together to organize and prepare the donations for delivery to the seniors. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping others in their community.
