Temporary Yard Waste Site to Open

The city will open a temporary dumping center for yard waste, including tree limbs, branches and leaves, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday in the parking lot behind Theis/Cornfeld Recycling Center, 635 Illick’s Mill Road.

Bethlehem Compost Center, 1480 Schoenersville Road, has received an unusually high amount of yard waste due to the past weekend’s winter storm. The temporary dumping center will provide additional space for residents who are clearing their yards of debris. Grass, sod and tree stumps will not be accepted.

Bethlehem Compost Center is closed Wednesday and Thursday and will resume normal operating hours at 9 a.m. Friday.
