Tonight's City Council Meeting Cancelled

Meeting on zoning law unnecessary because council completed discussions on Monday.

 

A City Council committee-of-the-whole meeting to discuss the city’s proposed new zoning law scheduled for 7 p.m. tonight in Town Hall has been cancelled.

Council finished discussing all of its proposed revisions to the law during its meeting on Monday night, according to The Express Times. The revised law will be sent to the Planning Commission for one more review before coming back to City Council.

The new zoning ordinance will be the first comprehensive revision to the city’s zoning code in more than 40 years.
