Township Police Report Armed Robbery at Bethlehem Wal-mart

The gun-wielding robber forced a cashier to load iPads into a bag and carry them out of the store, police say.

An armed robber forced a Wal-mart cashier to load iPads into a bag and carry them out of the store, according to Bethlehem Township police.

The robber reportedly showed the cashier a note and a gun around 8:15 last night. He instructed the cashier to fill a red duffel bag with iPads and iPad Minis and carry them out of the store.

They walked along Nazareth Pike to the Giant supermarket, where the robber took the bag and ran. The cashier then returned to Walmart and reported the incident.

Police have determined from he cashier’s report and from surveillance footage that the robber was black, male, between 18 and 20 years old, 6 foot 3 in., and sporting a crew-cut hairstyle. Any person with information about the robber or the incident should call township police at 610-759-2200.
