Unity Bank and the Knights of Columbus Sacred Heart Council #1582 in Bethlehem recently organized their second annual Coats for Kids Project benefitting students at Freemansburg Elementary School and Marvine Elementary School in Bethlehem. The bank and council purchased and distributed 96 new coats to children in the local Bethlehem school district for students in grades K through 5. The schools were chosen based on their proximity to Sacred Heart and the bank’s Easton Avenue branch as well as the economic needs of the families in the area.
