• Boone Homestead Plans September Candle Workshop (travelswiththepost.com) — Birdsboro residents can sign up now for a hands‑on “Early American Candle Making” workshop at the Daniel Boone Homestead on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026, from 1–3 p.m. For $45–$50, participants of all ages will hand‑dip beeswax candles, craft a cinnamon‑scented ornament, and learn about 18th‑century life; registration is required by Sept. 13 via email.
