• Police: Woman drops PFA, begins harassing ex-boyfriend (northcentralpa.com) — A Bloomsburg woman is facing a misdemeanor harassment charge after allegedly calling her ex-boyfriend despite prior police instructions not to contact him. Police say the call referenced a protection from abuse order she had previously filed and then dropped. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 28, giving Bloomsburg residents another local court case to watch.
   

• Police investigate reported assault in Columbia County (fox56.com) — State police are investigating an April 10 assault in Orangeville involving a 29-year-old Bloomsburg woman who reported being kicked, hit with a wet floor sign, and scratched. She also told troopers the attack followed hours of alleged racial harassment, and no suspect details have been released yet.
   

• Mountain Cats Scratch Out Non-Conference Split with Bloomsburg (pittjohnstownathletics.com) — Bloomsburg softball split a non-conference doubleheader at Jan Hutchinson Field, dropping the opener to Pitt-Johnstown before rallying for a 6–3 win in game two. The Huskies used a six-run fourth inning in the nightcap to erase a 3–0 deficit and move to 22–16 on the season.
