Longtime banner creator Marty Edmunds of Boalsburg earned co-first place for her appliquĆ©d fabric banner, recognized alongside fellow veteran artist Joanie Eyster before more than 125,000 festival visitors.

State police say a Haines Township woman is jailed without bail, accused of setting her car on fire and then stealing a pickup while trying to leave the area.
