• Berwick crash kills driver, passenger flown to hospital (northcentralpa.com) — A driver was killed and a passenger seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash Monday night on Park Road in Briar Creek Borough, according to state police. Troopers say the southbound vehicle failed to navigate a curve, left the roadway, hit several trees, and overturned. The passenger was flown to Geisinger Danville for treatment, and the Columbia County Coroner pronounced the driver dead at the scene.
