• Medicaid Cuts Could Hit Home: Lower Bucks Hospital Named ‘At Risk' in National Report (bucksco.today) — Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol has been labeled financially “at risk” in a new national report examining how proposed Medicaid cuts could hit vulnerable hospitals. While hospital leaders insist closure isn’t imminent, advocates warn that reduced coverage and rising uncompensated care could slowly erode services many local residents rely on.
   

• Bucks County reports that another inmate has died, the 2nd this year (phillyburbs.com) — A Bristol Township woman is one of two people who died recently while in custody at the Bucks County Correctional Center, raising fresh questions about inmate medical emergencies. Officials say 37-year-old Ashley Gushue died in March from hemorrhagic shock, ruled a natural cause, and a 30-year-old Morrisville man died in April after an unspecified medical emergency.
   

• Local Senior Wins National Scholarship Award (coastalbreezenews.com) — A Bristol-based foundation has announced its 2026 national scholarship winners, highlighting how a local organization continues to support future public servants across the country. This year’s awards totaled $77,000, honoring patriotic high school seniors and commemorating Washington’s historic Delaware River crossing near Bucks County.
