Bryn Mawr Singer Heidi Hayes Performs an Evening of Cabaret

Darlington Arts Center in Concord Township welcomes acclaimed Bryn Mawr performing artist Heidi Hayes for an evening of cabaret on Saturday, April 13. Known for her warmth, wit and versatility, Heidi will present beloved tunes from the Great American Songbook as well as songs and stories from her travels through life.

With a diverse vocal career spanning the worlds of cabaret, opera, and musical theatre, Heidi has earned praise for her evocative performances that “wring every nuance from a lyric” (Ocean City Sentinel-Ledger). She has traveled around the world as a cabaret singer, from Singapore to New York City and locations throughout the United States, most recently performing at The Ethical Society of Philadelphia this past January as part of her "2 Voices 10 Fingers" project.

As a musical theater performer, Heidi has worked on many productions at Philadelphia’s Walnut Street Theatre (42nd Street, Side By Side By Sondheim, Miss Nelson is Missing) and played leading roles in Ocean City Pops productions of South Pacific, Camelot, and My Fair Lady. Previously, she performed around the country as an opera singer and concert performer with notable companies and ensembles, including Pennsylvania Opera Theater, OperaDelaware, Tulsa Opera, and the Philadelphia Singers.
