Bank Robbed In Bryn Mawr Monday, Suspect Sought

Police said the man seen here robbed a bank in Bryn Mawr Monday morning. Anyone with information is urged to call police.

BRYN MAWR, PA – A bank in Bryn Mawr was robbed Monday morning and police are now asking for the public's help identifying the man responsible for the crime.

According to Lower Merion Township Police, the man came in to the Citizen's Bank branch at 733 W. Lancaster Ave. in the Bryn Mawr section at about 9:48 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22.

He verbally demanded money from the teller, but did not imply he had a weapon nor did he show a weapon, police said.

After getting an undisclosed amount of money, the man fled the bank on foot heading east on Lancaster Avenue.

Police described the suspect as a light-complected black man who was about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds.

He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, a white baseball cap with a black brim, large sunglasses, a white scarf over his face, and red cloth gloves, police said.
