
Explore your body's vitality, curb the wandering of your mind and get in touch with your inner being. This transformational workshop will approach meditation according to theYoga Sutras of Patangali, a seminal text of yoga, giving you the tools to begin meditating at home or build on your established sadhana (spiritual practice). Learn how to sit, breathe, relax and prepare the mind for meditation. The two-part workshop will include an introduction to the anatomy of the mind, a gentle, meditation-specific hatha yoga sequence, practice meditating on the breath and using a universal sound (mantra)––leaving you refreshed and ready for spiritual unfoldment. Appropriate for all levels.
Please bring your yoga mat and any additional props you would like to use for seated meditation practice.
