Three Harcum College athletes are going to the NJCAA Division I Cross Country National Championships in Iowa this weekend.
Freshmen Anthony Watkins, Mark Williams, and Ronnie Carroll, all Wilmington natives, will compete in Des Moines, from November 7-10. They qualified for nationals at the Region XIX meet on October 26, each placing in the top 10, with Watkins and Carroll making the All-Region team. Carroll placed second (28:03.154), Watkins placed seventh (32:42.480), and Williams placed tenth (34:33.494).
If they place in the top 10 at nationals, all three athletes will qualify for All-American status.
