“John Welsh joined the Lower Merion School District transportation team in 1988. Since that time he has been a shining example of what it means to be a professional school bus driver and driver training instructor,” said LMSD Supervisor of Transportation Jerry Rineer. “John leads by example and he does us proud year after year at the regional, state and international school bus safety competitions. We are so proud of John’s accomplishments.”
The competition includes a written exam on bus safety, laws and regulations as well as a road test.
