The Lower Merion Township Scholarship Fund is marking its 50th year this fall, and is holding a special event to honor the anniversary.
The celebration will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, at Evviva Restaurant, 1236 Montgomery Ave., Narberth. Tickets are $50 each, and will be available in advance or at the door.
In its 50 years, the Fund has awarded some $3 million in scholarships to township students.
