Vehicle Burglar Strikes Main Line Area: Cops

Residents should make sure their vehicles are locked at all times when they are no attended.

BRYN MAWR, PA – A vehicle burglar has hit multiple vehicles on the Main Line over the weekend, according to Radnor Township Police. According to police all the incidents occurred in the same area early Saturday.

Police said numerous thefts from vehicles occurred in the early morning hours of Saturday, May 27 on Black Friar Road, Hawthorne Lane, Buckingham Drive and Barley Cone Lane.

Police said a resident reported seeing a light skinned black or Hispanic male wearing a red hooded sweat shirt with dark pants and carrying a back pack rummaging through an unlocked car on Buckingham Drive

Police said suspect ran off when confronted by the homeowner.

Last weekend, a resident's security cameras caught a person rummaging through an unlocked vehicle in Bryn Mawr.

Residents are reminded to lock their vehicles overnight and not to leave any valuable items inside them.
