• One Man Flown To The Hospital After Roller Over Crash (wisr680.com) — A serious multivehicle crash on Oneida Valley Road in Center Township Sunday morning left one vehicle rolled over and a man unconscious, shutting Route 38 for over two hours. One victim was first taken to Butler Memorial Hospital, then flown to a Pittsburgh hospital, underscoring ongoing safety concerns on this busy Butler-area stretch.
   

• Man Charged After Being Accused Of Chainsaw Attack (butlerradio.com) — Butler City police responded last month to a street fight where a Brookville man allegedly threatened another man with a chainsaw outside his home, leading to aggravated assault charges. He initially had $10,000 bail, but was later released on nonmonetary bail, and the case is now headed to the Court of Common Pleas.
   

• Alice B. Sarvey - ButlerRadio.com - Butler, PA (butlerradio.com) — Butler is mourning the passing of 83-year-old Alice B. Sarvey, remembered as a loving, generous and strong-willed woman who enjoyed cooking, gardening, crafts and road trips. Family and friends can pay their respects Thursday, September 10, from 5–7 p.m. at Spencer D. Geibel Funeral Home on New Castle Road, with a prayer service immediately following.
