Big Mac Lacrosse Team Chomps North Hills Indians Thursday
Lacrosse team takes on Allderdice High team Friday night at home.

The Boys lacrosse team continued its winning ways Thursday night with a 12-7 victory over the North Hills Indians at Martorelli Stadium in West View.
In a very physical contest, the Big Macs built up a six-goal lead early in the third quarter and answered each valiant attempt at a North Hills comeback with a goal of their own.
Connor Niemeyer had a hand in half of the Canon-Mac scores with five assists and a goal. Richie Leeds added two goals and an assist and three other Big Macs—Matt Maletta, Nick Podlaszewski and Andrew Hendal—netted two goals each.

Sophomore goalie Noah Baertsch also turned in a strong performance with 14 saves. The win boosts the team’s season record to 6-1.
The JV team continued its very strong season by extending its unbeaten season-long streak to six games with a dominating 12-1 over North Hills earlier in the day.
