Pittsburgh-Area Bank Robbery Suspect Nabbed Via Child's Homework
A Pittsburgh-area man was arrested on multiple bank robbery-related charges. The key clue in the case was a child's math assignment.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A note written on the back of a child's homework assignment has led to the arrest of a Pittsburgh-area bank robbery suspect.
Allegheny County Police said that on May 8, Versailles Police were dispatched to the Heritage Federal Credit Union on Walnut Street following a robbery.
Investigators determined a man entered the bank, gave a note demanding money and pulled out a firearm while threatening the victims. He took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene.

Detectives determined the piece of paper the robbery note was written on appeared to be part of a school worksheet and later confirmed it was part of a spelling exercise at a local elementary school.
After receiving a lab report from the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office on Wednesday, investigators determined fingerprints on the note belonged to Keith Graves Jr., 39, of Versailles.

He was taken into custody Thursday without incident and faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault, robbery and terroristic threats.
