Blotter: $10K in Equipment Stolen From Drill Site

Cecil police are also investigating the theft of two quads from a township residence.

Cecil Township police said someone stole a towable light tower from a Range Resources drill site off 38 Swihart road—a piece of equipment that is valued at $10,000.

Police said the theft was reported to the department Monday by Mark Wainhart, who is the construction supervisor at the site.

The equipment has been missing since Dec. 20.

Police said there was no evidence of forced entry at the site.

Quads Stolen From Residence

Jason D. Teatino told police Monday that someone stole two quads from a secured shed outside his 423 Oriol Drive home.

The first quad was described as a 1989 Suzuki Quad Sport 230 that was all-white with a blue front. The second is a 2004 green Arctic Cat 300.

The value of the two vehicles was not immediately known.
