Sheetz Brings Back Crunchy Tacos, Adds Mexican-Style Items Across 830-Plus Stores

The convenience chain Sheetz says crunchy tacos return tomorrow for a limited time, with Jalapeño Fryz and Western Burrito also joining.

ALTOONA, PA- Sheetz has announced that its crunchy tacos will return for a limited time starting Tuesday more than 830 locations across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia and West Virginia.

The convenience chain also said two additional Mexican-style menu items, the Western Burrito and Jalapeño Fryz, will be available starting tomorrow across its footprint.

Customers can buy six crunchy tacos for $6. The tacos can be customized with toppings including taco sauce, jalapeños, sour cream, shredded cheese and lettuce. People can add dipping sauces including BBQ, Buffalo, Nacho Cheese, Ranch, Guacamole, Salsa, Boom Boom Sauce, Jalapeño Ranch and Buffalo Garlic Blitz.

Also, the western burrito is returning to Sheetz’s breakfast menu. Customers can get two breakfast burritos for $6 and choose from western, sausage or bacon varieties.

Jalapeño Fryz, a new menu item, features sliced pickled jalapeños coated in seasoned panko breading and can be ordered as a snack or topping.

Sheetz said the returning tacos and new items are part of a broader Mexican-style lineup available through its Made-to-Order platform. In addition to Crunchy Tacos, the company said it offers Street Tacos and Breakfast Tacos. Its menu also includes burritos, taco salad and cantina bowls, according to the announcement.

The company said customers can choose from fish, taco beef, chicken, brisket and crispy chicken as protein options, with pork coming soon. Tacos, burritos and bowls are available for customization around the clock, according to the announcement. Sheetz directed customers to its website for the full menu as the limited-time taco promotion begins tomorrow.
