Blotter: Canonsburg Man Charged With Assault
David Crow was jailed on assault charges Saturday.

charged a borough man with simple assault and harassment Friday after a reported altercation in his home.
David Lawrence Crow, 60, of Canonsburg, was briefly jailed on $2,500 bond after being arraigned Friday by district Judge Gary Havelka.
He is scheduled to appear before district at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 7 for a preliminary hearing.

Cecil police investigating criminal mischief
Stanley Sadowski, of 44 Georgetown Road, told that someone shot at an older-model car parked alongside the road in front of his business, Sadowski Auto Salvage. He noticed the damage at 4 p.m. Sunday. Police are investigating.

Theft from vehicle reported
Vicki M. Douglass, of 3314 Millers Run Road, told Cecil police that someone stole between 10 and 15 CDs, along with a black CD case, from her vehicle as it was parked outside her home Friday night. She noticed the missing items around 4 a.m. Saturday when she was leaving for work. Police are investigating.
