Blotter: Cecil Police Investigate Theft of Wedding Ring
A township woman said someone stole her engagement ring and wedding band from her unlocked vehicle.

want to remind residents to lock their vehicles in the wake of a vehicle theft Thursday of a diamond wedding band and a 2.8-carat engagement ring.
Brooke Supernovich, of 127 Vista Drive, told police someone removed the platinum band with diamonds and the round-cut diamond engagement ring from her vehicle sometime Wednesday night.
Also taken from the unlocked vehicle was about $16 in change. An unknown amount of change was also taken from a second vehicle parked in her driveway.

Criminal mischief reported
Richard Robinson told Cecil Township police that someone broke the window of a CAT front loader that was parked on a work site at 1059 Timber Run Drive.

Robinson, who is a foreman for Subrick Construction, said about $400 worth of damage was done to the machine, which he said was sustained sometime Wednesday night.
