Blotter: Doors Damaged at Muse VFD, Car Vandalized

Cecil Township police are investigating the incidents.

Cecil Township police said two small children vandalized the back doors at the Muse Volunteer Fire Department on Monday.

Police Lt. Shawn Bukovinsky said Toni Zombeck, of Beech Street, called to report the damage at about 6 p.m. Monday.

He said video surveillance from the firehouse showed that two small children—who police later identified as being 4 and 6 years old—had thrown bricks at the door, shattering glass there.

Bukovinsky said Zombeck did not want to press charges, and that police had spoken to the parents of the children in question.

It was unclear how much damage was done to the doors, which are scheduled to be replaced next week.
