Blotter: Bulger Man Jailed on Sex Assault Charges; Woman Again Jailed for Retail Theft
Two local men and one woman were jailed this week on various charges.
A Bulger man remains in Washington County Jail on charges he sexually assaulted someone younger than 16.
McDonald police also charged Jordan Menke, 25, with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person younger than 16, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault and two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor.
The charges stem from a Nov. 1, 2009 incident, according to court dockets.

"Police said Menke had sex with the girl and also fondled her. He also is accused of showing her pornography and giving the girl alcohol on multiple occasions as well as marijuana," according to the Observer-Reporter.
Menke was arraigned Wednesday before district Justice Valarie Costanza and remanded to the Washington County Jail after being unable to post a $25,000 straight bond.

He is scheduled to appear in Central Court in Washington for a preliminary hearing at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Woman Jailed on Theft Charges
Canonsburg police charged Dena Chandler, 41, of Washington, with retail theft Wednesday.
She was arraigned before district Judge David Mark and remanded to the Washington County Jail after being unable to post a $10,000 straight bond.
Chandler is scheduled to appear before Mark at 11:30 a.m. Thursday for her preliminary hearing.
Court dockets show that Chandler has a history of retail theft charges stemming back to 1992.
Waynesburg Man Jailed on Drug Charges in North Strabane
North Strabane police charged a Waynesburg man with a felony count of possession with intent to deliver and other offenses Wednesday.
Charles Lemley, 23, was also charged with misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and disorderly conduct, which is a summary violation.
North Strabane charged him with the crimes after finding heroin following a car crash, according to the Observer-Reporter.
He was arraigned Wednesday before district Judge Jay Weller Wednesday and was remanded to the Washington County Jail after being able to post $25,000 bond. Lemley remained jailed as of Friday morning.
Lemley is scheduled to appear before Weller at 11:15 a.m. Oct. 25 for a preliminary hearing.
