Blotter: Tools Stolen and Fight Reported

Canonsburg police are investigating several incidents from over the weekend.

Phillip David Welch told Canonsburg police on Sunday that someone entered his unlocked vehicle and stolen tools that were in a case there.

Welch, of 217 Belmont Ave., reported that a screw gun and impact gun worth $250Ā  were taken.

Purse Stolen

Pauline Paris told police on Sunday that someone entered her unlocked vehicle and stole her Gucci purse—which contained her credit cards and $50.

Paris, of 9 W. Pitt St., told police the theft likely occurred sometime after 8 p.m. Saturday.

Fight reported

Canonsburg police were summoned to 367 Euclid Ave. early Saturday for a report that 15 people were brawling there. When police arrived, a witness said the fight was over and everyone had gone home.

Accident Reported; Charges Pending

Police on Sunday afternoon responded to an vehicle accident outside of a residence at 320 Bow St.

When officers arrived, they discovered a vehicle driven by Robert B. Folk, of East Street, had crashed into two parked cars.

Police said there was vomit inside Folk's vehicle and on his person, and that he was unable to perform a field sobriety test.

Folk was taken by ambulance to Canonsburg General Hospital for treatment and a blood-alcohol test. Charges were pending, according to a police report.

Harassment Charged

Police charged Roy Munce, of 158 Munce Road, with harassment following an incident Friday.

Nick Hilderbrand, of 217 Arlington Drive, told police Munce was following him in a truck as he drove through town, and attempted to get him to pull over so the pair could fight.
