Today's Tarot - Strength

The strength card is about strength of character and integrity, not about brute strenth or power over others. Like Craig Ferguson sung about "Dr. Who"...it is about "intellect and romance over brute force and cynicism."

I was watching the president's speech to AIPAC yesterday (Sunday) and the summary contained my new favorite quote ... one that resonates quite a bit with the Strength card, and with integrity in general.

It is a beautifully poetic expression of a deep and well-known truth. This is the kind of deep intellectual and emotional authenticity to which I aspire, and hope we all, as a country and culture, can value.
