Burnt-Out Headlight Leads to DUI Arrest in Cecil

Police said Arnold Olsen has a blood-alcohol content of .106 percent.

A burnt-out headline led to charges of driving under the influence for a local man.

Cecil Township police charged Arnold Olsen, of Cecil, with two counts of DUI stemming from a traffic stop on Southpointe Boulevard near Morganza Road at 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police said that when officers stopped Olsen, the smell of alcohol was emanating from him and that his eyes were bloodshot and glassy.

Asked it he had consumed any alcohol, Olsen said he had two beers.

Police took him into custody on suspicion of DUI after a field sobriety test showed signs of impairment.

Olsen was transported to the Cecil Township Police Department, where a breath test showed that he had a .106 percent blood-alcohol content.
