• 'A lack of respect': Repeated vandalism, disruptions from teens frustrate Canonsburg business owners (wpxi.com) — Business owners along Pike Street in Canonsburg say repeated vandalism and disruptive behavior from local teens are damaging restrooms, littering storefronts, and creating daily cleanup headaches. Midtown Market and ReLoved Resale describe ongoing issues, while Canonsburg's police chief reports rising criminal mischief cases and vows to identify and prosecute those responsible, asking residents to contact police with any information.
• HydroEdge Solutions Acquires Majority Interest in RES Water (citybiz.co) — A Canonsburg-based energy services company, HydroEdge Solutions, has acquired a majority stake in RES Water, creating a larger water management platform for shale drilling across Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. The combined firm will employ about 350 people, run five treatment and recycling facilities in Pennsylvania, and focus on cutting trucking miles while expanding water reuse and infrastructure investment opportunities.
