Camp Splash Opening Date Announced
The summer program at Town Park in Canonsburg sold out last year, so early reservations are suggested.
Sure, it's been a snowy, icy, wintry mess the past day or so, but it isn't too early to think summer.
Or more specifically, Camp Splash.
's Camp Splash will open its sixth season Monday, June 25 at Town Park. The camp will will operate from 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 a.m. Monday through Friday for seven weeks.

The $150-per-week fee (less than $4 per hour) includes a light breakfast, crafts, sports and other activities in the morning and a hot lunch, three hours of swimming and snacks in the afternoon.
In past years, the camp has completely sold out in April, so early registration is recommended, borough Manager Terry Hazlett said.

The camp is open to children 6 and older.
Registration forms will be available on the borough's website in mid-February. Previous campers will also receive registration forms in the mail. Campers must register for full weeks only.
