Canonsburg Police Seek Burglary Suspect

A manager of the Subway on East Pike Street told Canonsburg police that someone broke into the store sometime early Friday morning.

are searching for a man who reportedly burglarized the Subway restaurant on East Pike Street early Friday morning.

Manager Donald Kraeer told police that video surveillance showed that a man entered the business at 12:48 a.m. and took $84 in paper money from a cash register drawer underneath a counter.

The man is described as being slender and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled over his head. He was also wearing dark baggy pants and black tennis shoes with a white sole. The man was also seen wearing gray gloves with black stripes running across the back of each hand.

"There were two distinctive black marks on each shoe—one being on each heel and the other being on the ball of the foot, where your big toe is located on each shoe," a police report indicated.

Kraeer told police that the man gained entry by prying open a side door.
