Congratulations to Winfield Bankard Carson V (son of Scott and Kathy Carson of Canonsburg), who won a contest for the best musical composition in the 2012 Pennsylvania Music Educator Association's competition.
The composition, "Inspirazione de Sebastian Anthony Russo," will be performed Thursday at the Lancaster Convention Center, according to Canonsburg Borough's website.
Carson is a sophomore music student at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter school.
