Cecil Approves Overlay Districts; Conditional-Use Ordinance
Both motions passed Tuesday 5-0.

supervisors on Tuesday night approved two ordinances related to Marcellus Shale drilling—one to create overlay districts and the other to make the activity a conditional use.
The motion to approve the overlay district was made by Supervisor Andy Schrader and seconded by board Chairman Mike Debbis.
The motion to approve the conditional-use ordinance was made by Supervisor Kevin Camerson and seconded by Andy Schrader.

Reached after the vote, Range Resources attorney Ken Komorowski said the company was "disappointed" by the board action.
