Cecil Supervisors Appoint Two to Marcellus Shale Co-Op
The board named the two representatives at its regular meeting Monday.

Cecil Township Board of Supervisors on Monday appointed two representatives to a Marcellus Shale Co-Op spearheaded by a local lawmaker.
Board Chairman Mike Debbis made a motion naming Supervisors Andy Schrader and Tom Casciola to the co-op, which was formed by state Rep. Jesse White, D-Cecil, earlier this year.
The supervisors had voted in April to formally opt into the group, which the legislator has said will help address issues related to the drilling and processing of natural gas locally.
